Wild Boar Wood Campsite offers off-grid woodland camping in stylish pre-erected bell tents on a small, secluded site close to the Ashdown Forest and within easy reach of London and Brighton. Our “wild glamping” experience gives campers all the benefits of wild, woodland camping, with den-building and campfires encouraged, but without the need to pitch your own tent. As there’s no electricity on site, campers shouldn’t expect hairdryers or phone chargers but will find our nine bell tents fully-equipped with beds, cooking equipment, grill and a firewood allocation.
Our beautiful campsite is set within a five-acre bluebell wood surrounded by lovely Sussex countryside close to Horsted Keynes. The historic Bluebell Railway runs past the edge of the campsite and Sheffield Park is just round the corner. We have permanent wardens on site and operate a small-scale, quiet, relaxed and laid-back campsite which is ideal for families, groups and couples. We don’t allow amplified music and have a low noise policy from 10pm.
