The starting point for your visit to Ashdown Forest, the Forest Centre’s Information Barn has everything you need to help you plan your day. The café stocks a range of gifts and souvenirs. Public toilets and a Changing Places facility are also available. It is open seven days a week (opening times at weekends are subject to change so check the website for details).
A great day out for all ages, the Centre is home to the finest collection of native species in the country with over forty different species on display, from tiny harvest mice to magnificent red deer and everything in between! All species are housed in large enclosures, landscaped to reflect natural habitats.
Tablehurst Community Farm is a social enterprise founded in the mid 1990s. The farm produces meat, poultry, vegetables, raw milk and arable crops to biodynamic and organic standards. Most of Tablehurst’s produce is sold through the farm shop, which is open six days a week.
