Bridge Cottage is a beautiful Hall House which was thought to have been built around 1436. It is the oldest building in Uckfield and is located at the bottom of the High Street, almost opposite Uckfield Station.
Bridge Cottage is now open after extensive re-furbishment funded by a Lottery Grant. Regular tours of the site are available, there is a monthly talk on different aspects of Bridge Cottage and its heritage as well as regular music evenings and children’s school holiday activities . This beautiful building makes a unique venue for meetings, intimate celebrations and will soon be licensed for weddings. The maximum number of guests is 50 and there is a small kitchen for serving refreshments.
