SO SUSSEX is an exciting and innovative family run company in the heart of the Sussex Countryside.  We offer a great range of outdoor activities for you to take part in, such as cycling, fishing, hiking, mushroom walks and woodland sessions.  We also package these activities together into outings, events and challenges that create exciting and
enjoyable experiences for any situation.  Spending time outdoors makes you hungry and we can provide unique picnic hampers containing local Sussex foods and our home made cakes are a much talked about feature of a day with SO SUSSEX.  We can also arrange for three course meals cooked outdoors over open fire.

Having lived in Sussex for over 40 years we have an intimate knowledge of the countryside that we  can’t wait to share with you.  Why not take part in these activities with us, catch your first fish, explore the beautiful Ashdown Forest on foot or by bike, or uncover the mysterious world of mushrooms.  Whether you are a school looking for
outdoor learning opportunities, a family wanting to do something together or a just a visitor to the area wanting to get off the beaten track, then SO SUSSEX has something unique for you!

So Sussex runs several successful festivals each year which include Elderflower Fields at Pippingford Park over the Whitsun weekend in May and Into the Trees in September.  A new event, Byeline which is specifically for journalists will run at Pippingford Park at the end of May.

Nigel Greenwood is  one of group who have created the Spithurst Hub – a flexible work space on the outskirts of Barcombe.  Members of the site can hire space to work or hold meetings on a flexible basis.  The site is now open and tours can be arranged as required.  Contact Nigel Greenwood for further information.
