Enchanting adventures exploring the “real” world of Winnie-the-Pooh and bespoke private tours of Ashdown Forest for Families, Friends and Fans –  just an hour from central London by train!

It’s hard to imagine a more perfect backdrop for a Pooh Trek than Ashdown Forest, the 6,500 acres of woods and heathland in which A.A. Milne  based his tales of “a Bear with no brain”, a boy with a sense of adventure and all their forest friends.

Many locations in the Pooh stories are the same actual places you’ll visit and explore – for example, the site for the Expotition to the North Pole at “100 Acre Wood” is in reality Five Hundred Acre Wood, “Galleon’s Leap” was inspired by the hilltop and clump of Scots Pines named Gill’s Lap, standing like a sentinel at the highest point in the Forest; and of course the fantasy places  such as the “Heffalump Trap”, and the “Place where the Woozle wasn’t” are still very much in existence today.

Walking on the Forest offers spectacular views, with each new discovery never more than a few minutes away. And of course, there’s the Winnie-the-Pooh connection, to make your Pooh Trek even more magical!
