Its another busy weekend across the Forest with loads of exciting things to do!

Its Bluebell time and after all the lovely weather they are looking stunning. Wander down the bluebell walks at Heaven Farm where you might even see a wallaby or two or at Horam Manor Farm. There are also carpets of bluebells at Standen and Sheffield park! If you want to see the spring flowers in style climb aboard the Spa Valley railway for a trip through the stunning countryside! www.spavalleyrailway.co.uk.

If you are looking for some great food, then BBC Masterchef winner Peter Bayless is cooking French Brasserie tonight at Perryhill Orchards. You would need to book.   Award winning High Weald Dairy are running their new cheese tours on Saturday and Sunday this week.  Please book as they will be popular!  Also the new chef at Sweetwoods Park Golf Club is going to produce amazing canapes to celebrate the clubs 25th birthday this evening. www.sweetwoodsparkgc.com.   

If you would like to browse and do some shopping with a difference visit The Arts Fair at High Hurstwood Village hall- Private View tonight and then open 10.30-5.30 on Saturday and Sunday. There will be some amazing art – pictures, sculpture, ceramics and a range of local crafts including my fused glass jewellery. Entrance is free so do pop in. www.theartsfair.co.uk. Browse the tables at the Bridge Cottage Antiques Fair on Saturday and pick up a bargain. www.bridgecottageuckfield.co.uk. Visit the annual Heffle Cuckoo Fair in Cade Stret in Heathfield and watch the ‘cuckoo’ fly the nest to show that Spring is sprung!

Then its Classic Bus day in East Grinstead.and all rides on the vintage buses are free. Climb aboard a Routemaster and take a trip don memory lane! www.eastgrinstead.gov.uk
