The Llama Park is home to a host of animals including llamas, alpacas, reindeer, Andalusian horses, Jacobs sheep, donkeys, woodcock and pigs. It is located on the A22 between Forest Row and Nutley, 300 metres south of the traffic lights at the cross roads at Wych Cross. Visitors can take a leisurely walk around the 33 acre site, meet the animals and enjoy food from the cafe while taking in stunning views across the Ashdown Forest. Why not take a llama for a walk – a unique experience to remember forever!
Llama walks take place twice a day – 11.30 and 2.30. The 11.30 walk lasts 1.5 hours and the afternoon walks are around the site. Donkey rides are also available around the fields. Additional facilities include an adventure play area for the children and a unique fashion, knitwear and gift shop with recent additions of jewellery, ceramics and artefacts from around the world. The recently upgraded café and restaurant is well known for home made scones and soup but now also serves cakes, cream teas and light lunches.
The conference room is an ideal location for meetings, conferences and special events. The Wedding Barn is now licensed for weddings with up to 60 guests and is also used for regular art exhibitions by local artists. New barns have also been created which are ideal for parties, Christmas meals and private functions. Please contact the park staff for an informal chat about the facilities that are now available.
No admission charge to coffee shop, knitwear and gift shop. Open daily 10.00-5.00pm except 25& 26th December and 1st January
NB: Dogs are not allowed into the park for safety reasons.
