Kay Carpenter – Reflections on Humanity and Nature at Crowborough Centre

1st – 28th February

Local artist Kay Carpenter will be exhibiting in the Gallery Community Cafe throughout February. Kay works in a variety of mediums including watercolour, pencil and ink to capture her passion for nature and love of portrait drawing. She uses a range of styles to play with light, shade and contrast, harnessing the spark of life and highlighting the distinctive beauty and drama of our everyday tableaux.

You may recognise Kay as she also works as a Duty Manager here at the Centre on Thursday and Friday evenings!

Original framed artwork will be on sale, alongside prints and cards all at very reasonable prices. Kay also takes portrait commissions and examples of these will be available to view within the exhibition.

For more information about the artist, you can visit Kay’s page on Facebook @kaycarpentersartybits or on Instagram, @reeniemcbeenie.
