10 Earth and Circuline at Trading Boundaries

Friday 23rd June

Headlining IO Earth have been billed as “One of the most eclectic and pioneering bands of the 21st century”. IO Earth is a Symphonic Rock, Art Rock, Progressive Rock Band that seamlessly blends styles like Rock, Ambient, Jazz, Classical, World, Progressive Rock, Folk, and many more.

They are one of the most talked about bands in Progressive Rock. Their unique ability to blend genres in to one cohesive sound is truly second to none. After the release of their 3rd studio album, “New World”, IO Earth has gone from strength to strength, clocking up barnstorming performances at some of the biggest Prog/Rock festivals in the world, including Ramblin’ Man, Night of the Prog and an amazing FOURTH outing to the prestigious Cruise to the Edge. They were also nominated for the Vanguard Award at the Progressive Rock awards, 2016.

Visiting from New York, the modern cinematic progressive rock band Circuline features two theatrical lead vocalists, a keyboard player from Juilliard, a jazz-rock genius on guitar, a rocking bass player from another galaxy, and a drummer with progressive rock in his DNA. One review of their 2016 release, COUNTERPOINT, raves that “Circuline has arrived, time for Progland to embrace them wholeheartedly… easily one of the very best US bands in recent memory”, while PROG magazine describes it as “healthy doses of Yes, Rush, and Gentle Giant, but there are also creeping, Steven Wilson-esque atmospherics and cinematic soundscapes… powerful harmony vocal arrangements… an intriguing, impactful record that spans the classic and modern prog worlds.”
Nominated for PROG Magazine’s 2016 Limelight award for best new band, Circuline recently performed at the 13th International Rites of Spring festival (RoSfest) in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.
Circuline are a hugely entertaining band… so don’t miss this rare opportunity to see them!
